Cruise First Aid Kit Checklist (Free Printable Oh Ship Kit)
Let’s be honest, when you’re cruising, the last thing you want is an “Oh Ship” moment (and I’m not talking about the missing sailaway party!). Whether it’s a sunburn, a headache, or that sudden “uh oh” feeling after too many tropical drinks, having a little first aid kit on hand can save the day.
That’s why I created this free printable Cruise First Aid Kit Checklist, inspired by my very own Oh Ship Kit. It’s small, easy to pack, and always ready for your next adventure.

⚓ What’s Inside the Oh Ship Kit Checklist
This handy printable walks you through everything you’ll want to include in your travel first aid kit — things you’ll be thankful to have, even if you never need them.
You’ll find essentials like motion sickness helpers (ginger chews, patches, or meclizine), pain relievers, allergy meds, and stomach soothers. I also include vitamin C packets, hydration powders, bandages, and a few comfort extras like lip balm, mini sunscreen, and aloe.
It’s all organized into easy-to-pack categories so you can print it, check it off, and cruise worry-free.

💙 Why You’ll Love This Free Printable
My Oh Ship Kit has been a total game changer. I keep mine permanently packed in a small cosmetic bag so it’s always ready to toss into my suitcase. It’s simple, compact, and designed with cruisers in mind — because when you’re out at sea, finding medicine isn’t always easy.
If you want to see exactly what I keep inside mine (and how I organize everything by category), check out my full post on Inside My Cruise First Aid Kit: What’s in My Oh Ship Kit. I share real photos, my go-to products, and how I came up with the idea in the first place.
And while you’re getting your cruise prep sorted, my Cruise Prep & Pre-Pack Guide is a must-read. It walks you through what to do — and when — before your trip so you’re not scrambling at the last minute.

❓FAQs About Packing a Cruise First Aid Kit
Do cruise ships have medicine onboard?
Yes, but only a small selection. For anything beyond seasickness or pain relief, you’ll need to visit the ship’s medical center, which can be pricey and limited in options.
Should I pack my kit in my carry-on or checked bag?
I do both! I keep a few basics like motion sickness tablets and pain relievers in my carry-on, and tuck the rest in my checked luggage. That way I have what I need during travel days too.
Can I bring prescription meds on a cruise?
Absolutely — just make sure they’re in their original labeled containers and packed in your carry-on for embarkation. You can double-check what’s allowed through security with the TSA’s medication travel guidelines.
